The Left has too many Leaders

One answer to the question of why leftist groups splinter so much is that leftists are rugged individuals. Leftists have embraced America’s culture of rugged individualism much more than the Right has. The Right is primarily made up of followers. The Left is primarily leaders. Too many leaders. But, that is fundamental to American politics.
