Train Travel

Travel by train is a wonderful experience. It characterizes a different era. An Amtrak passenger train has something like seven cars. One dining, one sightseeing, one sleeping. Nearly, one-half of the train is not specifically for holding paying passengers. Contrast this with airlines, packing the maximum profits into an uncomfortable simple tube. I hope we never lose our collective memory for an era of enjoying life.
