We need a toolkit for apps, especially social apps. Like the old days of game tool kits, where users contribute to building games, or at least, game worlds. Some are working on enabling programming for non-programming. Better, I think, is that plus rich tool kits. People are going to come up with their own ideas….

Just wanted to say something about this topic. It is getting to be an epidemic! We are shopping in natural food markets and most products have natural flavors! Even the most wholesome looking brands. Some of these are from animal products, and they don’t have to tell you, so as a vegetarian, I’m not happy…

I started watching this movie. It is an anthology of three stories from South Korea. The second story, of the robot that achieves nirvana, is very good. Thank you for creating deep philosophy through science fiction. It is rare in the US.
F-22 Corporate Welfare
A news program tonight reported that the F-22 costs $500 Million, EACH! The absurdity of this corporate welfare is so extreme that it is almost beyond comprehension. There is no amount of sensible argument that can justify such an unnecessary expenditure. This is not national defense, it is national disgrace.
Wolfram Alpha is Stupid
I’ve seen a demo of Alpha by Wolfram. It was impressive. It shows how having specialized knowledge of sophisticated software can enable useful results.
